A Nutritionist's aim is to encourage positive long term health outcomes, which is achieved by addressing drivers of poor health such as:

  • lack of/poor quality sleep

  • work parameters

  • home life

  • physical activity (too much or not enough)

  • relationship with food

Supplements are a very helpful tool that are used when dietary intake is not enough to meet an individual's needs. Often they are used to treat symptoms to help a person feel well enough to perform daily tasks and improve their quality of life, as well to address the drivers of disease and therefore improve health quality long term.
